I love love love Erica and Callie you guys! The gay angst is kind of exhausting, but at the same time I love it. I hope Callie calms down; Erica broke my heart, because she was so excited and cute that morning in bed, but Callie shot her down. Mark rocks. Seriously.

The kiss!!! God I was so glad that I was home alone during "Joy" because I would have made a complete fool of myself. House was just pissing me off, being such an asshole to Cuddy the whole time. Then at the end, telling her she'd be a great mom. Gah. But I guess he made up for it ^_^ I can't wait to see the aftermath.

I hope everybody that can vote will (if you already haven't). It's bumming me out that I'm not old enough :\
I did contribute $10 bucks to the Obama campaign today. I feel kinda crappy about it, because I never gave any money to Hillary.

Also, went and walked houses for Gary Trauner (Dem running for congress here in Wyo), so I'm pretty exhausted. Wyoming is just about as red as you can get, but Gary has a really good chance, and I've been volunteering for him for about two months. My mom is going to excuse me from school on Tuesday so I can help out more then... It's going to be such a crazy day- there is no way I'm getting any sleep. And I have to go to school the next day ^_^

So my trip to the DNC was epic ^_^

My aunt got us tickets to see the Governor of Montana Brian Schweitzer, Governor of Arizona Janet Napolitano, and Senator of Colorado Ken Salazar answer questions at the Denver athletic club:

It was really neat.. Afterwards we got to go up and I was able to talk with the two governors; I asked what they suggested I study if I plan on going into politics. Janet said that she had majored in poly sci, but other than that mostly history, public speaking, and to "learn how to read and write." I really liked her ^_^ Schweitzer said to not study poly sci lol, but get into an advanced science and to "Change the world, then run for office."

We went walking down 16th street mall, and there was a huge crowd waiting outside, and supposedly there were a bunch of celebs in a restaurant.. We decided not to wait so went and walked around for a while before coming back, and the crowd was still there so I asked if we could stay. After like 45 minutes Anne Hathaway, Susan Sarandon, DANA DELANY, Spike Lee, and a few more came out. It was pretty cool.

After that, we went down to the MSNBC stage, and it was around 3 so Chris Matthews was there hosting Hardball!!!

Chris was actually a really nice guy. He came down a few times and talked to the crowd

Actually, I stayed at the stage until everything was over- around 11:30. XD But it was so worth it. I don't know how many of you watch MSNBC but it was absolutely amazing being able to see those people that I watch on TV all day. I mean, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Norah O'Donnel, Al Sharpton, Bill Richardson, and RACHEL MADDOW were all there.

Around 10:00 or so Rachel signed a tshirt and threw it into the crowd and I CAUGHT IT:

Lol I was spazzing- my knees were already sore for having been there for 7 hours, but after I caught the shirt my knees were just quaking and I thought I would pass out. And I'm not even mentioning the crazed look on my face lol. I love her :)

But yeah. I went to the convention as my last attempt to warm up to Obama and... Mission accomplished. I am completely sold on him. Watching his speech in that huge crowd at MSNBC just got me. I had tears in my eyes and just... It was so emotional. I didn't know it would be, that much, but I guess I should have known.
And yeah, I didn't get into Invesco or see Hillary or anything. And it would have been really cool to. But I was just happy to be where I was. All people care about around here is whether or not I saw Obama's speech, and they aren't really into it when I say I didn't. But that doesn't make it less of an awesome experience for me.

My support of Hillary has changed. I will never forget her, nor how she affected my personally. And I won't stop loving her for it. But it's time to let go.

And WTF? Sarah Palin? She has NO right to even mention Hillary in her speech. Palin does not even compare to Hillary. And frankly, as a Hillary supporter, I'm offended by McCain's choice of her. This was a strictly political move, and I hope the rest of the USA (especially bitter Hillary supporters) see right through it. I mean, did McCain even think about having this woman take over if something happened to him? (I mean come on, the man's 72) And don't even get me started on her political beliefs. Sheesh.

So.... It looks like I'm going to the convention. Just on Thursday. And just to pretty much loiter around and see what I can see. There's going to be so many people there, I mean there's a huge chance that I'll see someone, you know?

I would leave Thursday morning, get back Friday, which means I'd miss the first two days of school but.. Fuck that. I'm going Hillary hunting!!

This definetely isn't a surprise, but I'm still disappointed, because a) A 65-year old senate veteran. It emphasizes Obama's inexperience. And doesn't really add to his message of change or hope. b) I still had hope for Hillary, even though it wasn't likely. And now he comes out with a statement saying he never even considered her? So what, he's just been using her this entire time, making her go out, eat her words, telling everyone to support Obama, and he never even thought about it? I hope she comes out and says she knew the entire time that she was never in the running, because if she didn't even know, there goes a lot of her pissed off supporters voting for McCain.
And I was really trying to like this guy.
Don't get me wrong, she probably still has a chance in his presidential staff, but this whole time, we were just being led to believe she had a chance.

I'm enjoying one of my last free weekends.. The parents are out of town, and my sibs left this week to go back to college, so I'm just sitting around. It's nice to be alone for a few days.

Me and a friend applied for tickets to Obama's big speech in Denver a couple weeks ago, and we haven't heard anything back. I'm so bummed. I really just want to go and see Hillary one more time. Plus, it will probably help me to like Obama some more if I see him in person.
I wrote Hillary a letter the other day.. I'm contemplating sending it. She gets so many fanletters, you know, so what will mine matter?

I called the movie theater downtown about their X-Files poster the other day, to see if I could buy it... The guy was like, "I don't know. We might need it." So I asked when XF2 would be in town, and he told me it might skip us. Uh.... Ok, guy.

You guys... I am so fucked for this school year. Why do I do this to myself? All of my classes are AP.. There's Calculus, AP English, AP Biology, Chemistry 2, Spanish 4, Psychology, Sociology. I'm so scared that it's going to ruin my GPA, which I need to get this scholarship for the University of Wyoming.
But that's why I'm thinking I'll try not to spend too much time on here once school starts on the 27th. I might scan my flist once in a while, but I can't afford too many distractions...

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing good. If I end up going to the rally (not likely) I will let you know and post pictures!

Aliens?

What I've heard more than once about I Want To Believe is that it "doesn't have enough aliens." Hm.
All I can say to that is The X-Files aren't all about aliens. It's about paranormal occurances, unsoved cases, and government conspiracies. It's a huge misconception of almost everyone that doesn't watch the show that it is all about aliens and UFOs.
And that's probably why it isn't doing too well (as much as it pains me to say it). Because it's just not what's expected.

But I'm still glad it's there. As someone so rightly put it on a discussion thread, it was a "love letter" to us fans. A love letter sprayed with some nice perfume and wrapped in a little bow. And I love it as such.

In other ~~more depressing~~ news, one of my cats died today. Ran up onto the highway behind the house and got hit by a car. He was only 2, and a wonderful little cat. I named him Jack, after Jack Shepard of Lost.

It was so lame though, because there were maybe like twenty people in the theater :\ I totally wore my Scully shirt that I made a couple years ago and was all pumped to go, got there early and everything, and there wasn't even a line at all. One lady who sat behind me was a fan though, because she laughed at all the inside jokes.

Up until about two weeks ago, every day I wished that I was old enough to vote.

Not anymore.

I met Hillary Clinton on March 7, 2008. That is a day I will never forget. Something in me changed after that. All of a sudden, I knew what I was going to do; what I was supposed to do.

It's not that Hillary was a woman. She was the best candidate- the most capable to initiate the change our country needs.

And she inspired me. Never before has that happened, not in this enormity.

I won't ever actually like Barack Obama because of what he took away from Hillary Clinton. And from me.

But I have an Obama bumper sticker on my car. I don't like it, and it eats away at my heart. And even though I will feebly support him in the coming months, I don't think I could bring myself to actually vote for him, if I was old enough. With Hillary, I fought people, wanting to convince them of her superiority.

I won't fight for Obama.

Sad that there's no Pushing Daisies or Private Practice this week... I watched last week's episodes last night. I really do love these shows. I don't think I talk about them as much as the rest. Violet and Cooper are my favorite. Really glad that Cooper didn't go through with the friends with benefits thing. I hope they don't rush these two... I like the angst ^_^

CSI this last time... Was okay. I'm still getting over Sara leaving DD: But I did get to watch it on the big screen at my uncle's... They have a home theater thing downstairs, so I snuck off and watched it by myself :D

I'm regretting the post I did last week..... I don't really know what I was thinking. Just kind of freaking out, I guess. Me and Summer are fine. I talked with her for a while on Thanksgiving day, so that helped.

Did everyone see GIllian's new hair?? Omg, this makes me so much more excited than it probably should.. but still!!! Scully!!! Filming starts so soon!!!
I watched all things with the Gillian commentary on my way back from Denver... Oh I love her. I love how she thought everything through so much. Everything was done on purpose. That episode was really importang to her.

I BOUGHT A PROM DRESS. ALREADY. AND I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH. It's white, and it's so pretty you guys. It's really early to g et one, I know, but I couldn't pass it up. (40% off lol) I want red shoes to go with it!!

I'm scared. My best friend is on the other side of the equator, and we're fighting. At least it feels like a fight to me. But we can't actually fucking talk about it so I don't know what's going on. Today was horrible. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I'm feeling so many things right now. I have so many things to say, but I don't know how to say them. My life is a rollercoaster. Sometimes, it's great, and happy. Other times, I couldn't feel shittier. I'm trying to be happy, but it just isn't coming. I can't breathe. Going to bed isn't even a haven for me anymore because I can't sleep. It's all coming up right now and I feel like crying, but I can't let myself cry because it makes me feel weak. I feel like I'm losing my best friend, and I can't do anything about it because she's in fucking Argentina. And I'm jealous, that she's there. She keeps talking about this boy. She says how great he is. I don't know if I'm jealous or what about that, too, but I hate it. So I friended this boy on facebook... She chewed my fucking ass. I just want to know a little more about him, you know? God. I'm so angry... And I don't know if it's directed at her or not, so I'm mad at myself for being mad at her. I need a hug so bad right now. I need to let this all out, but I don't know how.

1. House: Cuddy- I sat here and tried to think of what it was I loved about Cuddy for like five minutes, and really couldn't pinpoint it. So I'm not really sure... She's cunning and drop dead gorgeous. And she's the only one that can keep House in line.
2. X-Files: Scully- I'm not sure there could be a more perfect character than Scully. She kicks ass on a daily basis, and looks good while doing it. I love this woman.
3. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
4. Bones: Booth- Booth constantly surprises me. I think he's trying to get through to Brennan how much he cares about her, but she just isn't getting the message.. But he doesn't give up.

9. Private Practice: Addison- Loved her from the beginning. She's funny and smart and real. I can give her credit for bringing me into Grey's Anatomy, and eventually into everything else.

I LOVE themed episodes. OMG Bones was so fucking adorable this week. It killed me so bad.

So I'm pretty much sure that House and Cuddy are doing it like rabbits. *shrug* No doubt. A lot of sex going on there.

CSI was weird this week. I don't know.... I couldn't get into it at all. Maybe it was just me?

Well, in other news..
I kind of realized how much everyone on my flist does impact my life. The other day, we had a school assembly about this girl who died in the Columbine shootings.. But afterwards, we had to do a follow up talk in our next class. So we're talking about what affects our lives, and start talking about people we look up to. Some kid says something about there was this weird kid in one of his other classes who looked up to Marilyn Manson, and he just said how weird it was and I suddenly thought about </a></a>ex0h and like started defending Manson. I don't even like the guy. But it was weird.. I felt like I had an obligation to be on his side because of </a></a>ex0h, lol.

I've been lazing around all day, kind of playing with the idea of writing my papers. I finally shut the tv off and told myself to at least start on one, so I've got some good process on The Crucible one. And it's really not that bad, so I'm happy with it.
The history paper will be harder, though.. Hence me doing it second. I'm pretty sure I don't have half as much information as I need on my topic (George Washington leading the Continental Army) and I'm having trouble finding anymore, so.... I'm procrastinating.
I am very glad that today is not Sunday, which means I do not have to go to school tomorrow lol. I'm getting good at this being a hermit thing, and I kind of like it.

So a few days ago the idea struck me that I wanted to learn how to play guitar. I told Summer over facebook this, and she said she had an extra guitar at her house... So I dropped by and picked it up ^_^
I looked up some online lessons and they've gotten me started. And I'm not gonna lie. I'm kind of proud of myself. I've never played a musical instrument, so this is me going out on a limb. And it's hard, but I want to do it. There's been so much extra time for me lately, and this has really been helping fill that up.
But omg it's kind of addicting. Once I start... It's like, I don't even know how much time passes and all of a sudden I look at my watch and it's been 2 hours. My fingers hurt lol
And that's bad because I have 2 papers that are due in the next couple weeks, and they're not easy papers. One is on The Crucible (anyone read that?) which wouldn't be too bad cause I kind of liked it, but we have to relate one of the prompts the teacher gave us to McCarthyism in the 1950's (or sometime around there) or the post-9/11 America. So that's harder.

XC Skiing starts in less than a month. Fuck. Me. The team sucks this year. Hardcore. I'm the only junior girl. DDD: And I suck. I've really been trying to get in shape the last few weeks, running and lifting and stuff... But I'm so unmotivated. I'm dreading this season so bad.

I love Bones more and more each week. Why have I not watched this show before? Hmm.. Hodgins and the hot girl were funny. But I was just like GTFO because Angela was right there. But she took it well, lol. Bones and her dad made me D: I'm glad they played cards in the end.

House was kind of a dissapointment, but not too bad. I really like #9, the really pretty, dark haired girl, and the black guy. The one blonde girl is a BITCH. I hate her. She's gonna get it one of these days, you just watch. Cuddy smelling House was <333 But the promos for next week, wtf?? What is he thinking??

Pushing Daisies is the cutest show I have ever seen, nuf said.

I do like Private Practice, but I really think Shonda needs to cut down on all the drama. (In that and Grey's) It's just too much. But I love Violet. She's too cute. But the bike thing almost made me cry D: Cooper was really cute. "Do you wanna help me run it over with my car?" I like them ^_^

I don't think anyone on my flist watches CSI... But it made me a sad kitty last night. SARAAA. I knew she might be leaving, but.... She's the reason I started watching the show this summer. Her and Grissom are so perfect. I'm so addicted to GSR fanfiction right now. Like big time.

Didn't watch Grey's, but I will tonight.
